Enabling Services
MIPS Level 1 service - Single connection network attached primary data managed service infrastructure.
MIPS Level 2 service - Highly available network-attached primary data managed service infrastructure.
MIPS service provides the flexibility to add servers as you need them, as well as storage consolidation to simplify access, increase availability, and provide consistent copy of the data.
Once your enabling-level (MIPS –Level 1 or Level 2) service is deployed, you can add more primary data storage as your needs grow. Options include:
MIPS ON24: Primary data storage with point-in-time copies of datasets;
MIPS Backup: Back-up and restore data storage services; and
MIPS-EA (Extreme Availability): Remote site replication of data storage.
